Oswald Chambers

For years I have been led in my thinking that God puts people in certain places to be his hands on the earth. Sometimes, oftentimes, that person has no idea that he/she is playing a role that God intended for them to play. They would probably be thoroughly shocked if they actually knew.

Sandi Patty talks about this as she looks at the words of Oswald Chambers from his book, My Utmost for His Highest. I need to find this book and look at it. I ordered all of his writings from Amazon. Chambers calls it "the unexpected sacredness of circumstances" and continues:

God by his providence brings you into circumstances that you can't understand at all, but the Spirit of God understands. God brings you to places, among people and into conditions to accomplish a definite purpose through the intercession of the Spirit in you.

I think that Andy Pratt knows something about this. I will try to find his address also and email.
